In a recent social media post, GloRilla addressed a comment claiming she had “fallen off.” Rather than letting the negativity bring her down, the rising rapper used it as a powerful motivator to advance her career.

Memphis rapper proved that haters only fuel her ambition the moment a social media user took a jab at her, claiming that her career had ended.

GloRilla first gained mainstream attention in April 2022 with her viral hit single “F.N.F. (Let’s Go).” It quickly became a summer anthem, receiving millions of streams and sparking a TikTok dance craze, catapulting GloRilla to the forefront.

GloRilla’s success with “F.N.F.” drew the attention of legendary Memphis rapper and entrepreneur Yo Gotti. In July 2022, she signed with CMG (Collective Music Group), Yo Gotti’s record label that also features Moneybagg Yo and EST Gee.

GloRilla’s career reached another incredible peak in November 2022, when her breakout single “F.N.F. (Let’s Go)” was nominated for Best Rap Performance at the 2023 Grammys. In October that year, she received her first major award, winning Best Breakthrough Hip-Hop Artist at the 2022 BET Hip-Hop Awards.

In a world where social media critique can bring many artists down, GloRilla demonstrates to her fans that the best way to respond to hate is to use it as fuel to succeed.

It all began when a user on X (formerly Twitter) posted a harsh criticism, claiming that “GloRilla fell off so fast and bad.” The blunt remark did not discourage GloRilla, who bookmarked the post for the perfect response time.
With her many successes, GloRilla pulled receipts to show that she is still very much in the game.

GloRilla explained that the negative comment had actually motivated her to work harder and prove her doubters wrong. “I remember bookmarking dis & telling myself ‘Dey gotchu fucked up so bad,'” she wrote. “Dis post ain’t do shit but put a battery in my back I needed dat don’t let dese people write yo story for you, Keep going !!!”

The rapper’s response has garnered widespread praise and admiration from fans, with the post receiving over 64k likes.
