Nurse Terminated After Exposing Doctor Who Called Her ‘Dumb B-‘ In Viral Audio – Listen

by Gee NY

A disturbing audio recording posted by nurse Jessica Wingard on TikTok has drawn nearly 3 million views, sparking widespread outrage and a deeper conversation about the treatment of nurses by hospital physicians.

In the now-viral clip, Dr. Saddiqui, a physician at BryLin Hospital in Buffalo, is heard screaming, cursing, and repeatedly calling Wingard a “dumb b—”, after she asked him to assess a patient whose condition had changed overnight.

“Why are you screaming at me?” Wingard is heard asking.
“Because you guys do not care!” the doctor shouts back.

The confrontation, recorded on April 27, escalates as Wingard, working as an overnight RN supervisor, attempts to advocate for the patient.

“Shut up, dumb b—!” the doctor yells.
“No, you shut up! Don’t talk to me like that. I’m not your child,” Wingard responds.

Wingard shared the recording to her TikTok page @diamondtips4you, where supporters flooded the comments praising her courage for standing up to workplace abuse and demanding accountability.

The conflict, she said, was not isolated.

Wingard, who had worked under contract at the hospital for four months, told Atlanta Black Star that Dr. Saddiqui had a history of similar outbursts, particularly directed at Black women on staff.

“There are nurses who have quit altogether because of him,” Wingard said, adding that the hospital had been aware of his behavior but only planned to “replace him in the next couple of weeks.”

After Wingard posted the video, her staffing agency terminated her contract with BryLin Hospital, citing a violation of social media policy. However, she remains employed by the agency and has already received multiple offers from other facilities.

“His God complex kicked in… especially when he saw me,” Wingard said. “I very much felt as though he was looking and talking to me like he was better than me because I was a Black woman.”

Wingard, a 13-year veteran of the healthcare field, said her intention behind publishing the audio was to raise awareness about nurse mistreatment, especially in environments where hospital administrations often shield physicians from consequences.

She has since filed a complaint with the state medical board and plans to pursue legal action against the hospital for negligence and failure to ensure a safe workplace.

“When an institution is notified of abuse and still won’t take initiative to protect its nurses, that’s unacceptable,” she said.
