She’s Wild! Woman Arrested After Shooting Ex-Boyfriend in Front of Police, Then Leading Officers on Multistate Chase

In a dramatic and violent sequence of events, 39-year-old Chioma Agurd was arrested after allegedly shooting her ex-boyfriend outside the Bellaire Police Department in Texas and leading law enforcement on a 22-mile high-speed chase across state lines.

According to credible news reports about the incident, Agurd followed a Ford pickup truck carrying her ex-boyfriend and several other individuals in Bellaire, Texas. The group, fearing for their safety, drove to the Bellaire Police Department to seek help.

As officers approached the truck, Agurd allegedly circled the vehicle in her Mercedes SUV, fired multiple shots into the passenger side, and struck her ex-boyfriend. Officers returned fire, but Agurd fled the scene.

The victim, whose name has not been released, sustained multiple gunshot wounds and was transported to Ben Taub Hospital in serious condition.

Hours after the shooting, Alabama state troopers spotted Agurd’s vehicle on Interstate 65. She reportedly led officers on a 22-mile chase that ended near Pine Level, Alabama, when police deployed spike strips to stop her SUV.

Even after her vehicle was disabled, Agurd initially refused to surrender, resulting in a tense standoff with officers. She was eventually taken into custody without further incident and booked into the Montgomery County Jail.
