Diddy’s scandal has awoken Wendy Williams from her ‘TV slumber’ as she weighs in on the sexual assault allegations against music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs.

Wendy Williams and Sean “Diddy” Combs haven’t been the best of friends ever since the industry can remember.

The drama between the two began in the 1990s when Williams spoke out against Diddy on several occasions on her radio show Hot 97. Later, she was fired from the radio show in 1998 and maintained a “belief” that Diddy was involved in losing her job.

Before being fired from Hot 97, Williams claimed on her radio show, The Wendy Williams Experience, in 2005 that she was nearly jumped by the girl group Total, which was signed to Diddy’s record label Bad Boy Records. During a 2019 talk show episode, Williams mentioned the alleged incident and hinted at Diddy’s involvement.

Despite leaving the radio station, Williams enjoyed success with her talk show, The Wendy Williams Show, which debuted in 2008. During her daytime TV reign, she exerted her revenge by reporting on various Diddy news, including his various legal dramas.

After years of thinly field animosity, the two entertainment giants seemingly buried the hatchet when Diddy appeared on her show in 2017.

In an exclusive interview with DailyMail.com, Williams revealed that she has received numerous messages from individuals, including her own family members, applauding her past criticisms of Diddy. “What is really weird is that I have been told by so many people, ‘Wendy, you called it,'” she said.

“You know how I feel about that? It is about time,” Williams declared. She went on to express her disgust at the reported treatment of singer Cassie, who has spoken out about being harassed by Diddy. “To see this video on TV of [Cassie] getting pummeled … it was just horrific,” Williams stated.

But Wendy’s concerns don’t stop there. She wonders how deep the issue really runs, asking the tough questions many have avoided. “But now you have to think, how many more times? How many people? How many more women? It’s just so horrible.”

Diddy has vehemently denied all allegations of sexual assault. He remains locked up at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn while awaiting trial for unrelated federal charges since pleading not guilty on Sept. 17 to federal charges that he used his “power and prestige” to induce female victims into drugged-up, elaborately produced sexual performances with male sex workers in events nicknamed, “Freak Offs.”
