Cardi B is building a legacy with a major partnership with Revolve, and it’s going to be huge. The Grammy-winning rapper is launching her own fashion and beauty lines, and she’s doing it for her kids, for her future, and for all of us.

Following collaborations with brands such as Fashion Nova, Reebok, Skims, and Marc Jacobs, the Grammy-winning rapper stated on Tuesday (April 1) that she has launched a new partnership with Revolve Group.

The 32-year-old rapper, mother of three, and all-around powerhouse announced her joint venture with the California-based fashion and lifestyle retailer. In a heartfelt Instagram post, she emphasized the importance of ownership and setting up a future for her children.

“Coming from a Caribbean family, the goal is always to OWN! Our belief in leaving this earth and leaving our children something is leaving them with something!” Cardi wrote, dropping gems about her long-term vision. She added, “I’ve been very successful in my career and forever grateful for my success! But in my mind, I know that when I leave this earth, I would like to leave my kids more than property and a music catalog. I want to leave them with something they can carry for generations to come, something that their mother built from the ground up.”

This isn’t Cardi’s first rodeo in the fashion world. She’s already made waves with high-profile collaborations, rocking designs from luxury brands like Balmain, Mugler, and Alexander McQueen. But this will be her first owned venture, and she has big plans.

The ‘WAP’ hitmaker revealed that fashion is something she’s “very passionate” about, and she knows exactly what her fans want—fierce, flattering fits that feel just right.

“People have been expecting both from me. My beauty line, people have been expecting that, like an album,” Cardi B informed WWD. “When something is so expected, people want it to be the best, or, they want it to be the worst so they can be like, ‘Haha you don’t know about s* b**!’ People expect the best from both fields. We have to come in strong.”

“I could shop every single day, but there’s always that one pair of jeans that I love. There’s that tank top that I love, and I don’t care how many stains are on it, I’m gonna wear it because I just love it,” she said. “I want my brand to have that one piece that you buy, that you love, that it makes sense. If it’s a size small, it should be a true size small; if it’s a size large, it should be a true size large.”

WWD reported that the collaboration will feature the introduction of her first clothing and cosmetics lines, which will also signify Revolve’s entry into the beauty industry.

Revolve Group, recognized for its fashion products aimed at millennial and Gen Z shoppers, offers a perfect avenue for Cardi’s aspirations. The organization has worked with influencers and celebrities in the past, but this collaboration signifies a more significant business relationship.
