GloRilla is feeling the burn of the Kansas City Chiefs’ Super Bowl loss, both emotionally and financially.

The Super Bowl is known for its high stakes, but for rapper GloRilla, this year’s game came with an exceptionally costly twist.

The Super Bowl is among the most eagerly awaited sporting events every year. Fans of the Eagles, Chiefs, and the NFL from around the globe would not only get ready to witness a battle between two dominant teams, but many would also invest considerable sums in betting on various gambling props, such as predicting the winning team, who will score a touchdown and other game aspects.

GloRilla, who has been riding high on the success of her breakout year, decided to go big for Super Bowl LVII. The “Tomorrow 2” rapper went all in on Patrick Mahomes and his squad, placing a massive $128,000 bet on the Chiefs to take home the championship—only to watch her hopes (and her money) crash hard as the Philadelphia Eagles emerged victorious, leaving her with a bruised ego and a much lighter bank account.

The Memphis-born star had been riding high before the game, enjoying the electric Super Bowl atmosphere from a luxury suite alongside fellow rap queen Megan Thee Stallion. Decked out in style and full of confidence, GloRilla was all smiles as she watched the game unfold, believing she had made a winning move. But as the final whistle blew and the Chiefs’ defeat became official, reality hit hard.

To add insult to injury, the Eagles celebrated their win by blasting GloRilla’s own hit song“Yeah Glo!” in the locker room, turning her anthem into an unintentional soundtrack for her defeat.

The rapper found the irony amusing and playfully conveyed her annoyance, mentioning that it could have influenced her betting decision if she had been aware of their plans earlier.

“Yall shoulda told me yall had dis planned before I bet on da chiefs,” she retweeted a video of the Eagles celebrating the Superbowl win.

Even with the disappointing outcome, GloRilla is for The Glorious Tour, her first headlining series, which starts in March. There will be plenty of opportunities to recover!
