GloRilla’s family drama just took a turn no one saw coming, and somehow, Tory Lanez’s name is now in the middle of it.
GloRilla’s sister, Victoria Woods (better known online as Scar Face Woods), claims the incarcerated rapper sent her $2,500 after she went public with allegations that her famous sister had cut her and other relatives off financially. According to Scar Face, the money came after Lanez learned about the situation from behind bars and decided to step in.
In screenshots shared to Facebook, Scar Face posted what appeared to be a direct message from Tory Lanez’s Instagram account. In the message, the rapper allegedly acknowledged her struggle and offered to send the money, saying he understood what it felt like to have nothing when you need help. A second screenshot showed a $2,500 Apple Pay transaction, which Scar Face credited to Lanez, adding that he didn’t want the gesture public but that she felt compelled to thank him.
“He didn’t want me to post this, but ya boy heard about the situation all the way in jail Tory Lanez, thank you,” Scar Face wrote alongside the post.
The post immediately set social media buzzing, not just because of Lanez’s involvement, but because it added another layer to an already messy family dispute playing out in public view.
Scar Face has been vocal about her frustrations with GloRilla, accusing the Memphis rapper of abandoning her family despite her chart-topping success. In a series of posts, she painted a picture of parents still struggling to make ends meet while their daughter enjoys the rewards of fame. She claimed their father recently borrowed money from their mother and alleged that she herself had to cover a large portion of rent while accusing GloRilla of blocking their mom.
Those claims prompted a response from GloRilla, though not a direct one. The rapper shared screenshots of messages she said came from her mother, thanking her for ongoing support and expressing deep gratitude for everything she’s done for the family. The messages were warm, emotional, and framed Glo as a daughter who gives quietly and consistently.
The back-and-forth didn’t stop there. Scar Face later appeared on TMZ Live, doubling down on her stance that GloRilla has an obligation to help. She spoke candidly about their upbringing, describing shared struggles and arguing that success should come with responsibility, especially when family members are still working hard to survive.
The situation has sparked intense debate online. Some fans believe no one is entitled to another person’s money, regardless of blood ties. Others feel that shared hardship creates a lifelong bond and duty that fame shouldn’t erase. The involvement of Tory Lanez only intensified the conversation, with many questioning his motives while others focused on the symbolism of someone from the outside stepping in when family allegedly would not.
As of now, GloRilla hasn’t publicly addressed Scar Face’s latest comments or the claim about Tory Lanez’s financial help.
