‘I’m Tired’: Desperate Mom Says She Called Police On Her 17-Year-Old Son But They Won’t Help

A young mother’s raw and emotional plea has gone viral after she shared on social media that she’s repeatedly called the police to arrest her 17-year-old son.

According to the unnamed woman, her son is physically and emotionally abusive, but says officers refuse to intervene.

The woman, who did not publicly identify herself, uploaded a video recently where she detailed her ongoing struggle with her teenage son.

“All this [expletive] does is tell lies,” she said, visibly distressed. “Can somebody help me figure out how to get your 17-year-old abuser out of your house?”

According to the mother, she first called police over 30 minutes before recording the video—still waiting when she hit “record.”

The footage, widely circulated on TikTok and Instagram, captures her shouting, “Police! Where y’all at? Because I need some help!”

The mother said the teen has a history of destructive behavior. She referenced a past viral incident where he was misidentified as a 12-year-old who allegedly wrecked her home over a cell phone.

“That’s the 12-year-old that destroyed my house,” she said. “He wasn’t 12. He’s 17 now.”

She claims the situation escalated recently when her son physically assaulted her and damaged property.

He threw a TV on my foot a month ago,” she stated. “The police told me I gotta let him stay here. They coddle him.”

The video shows broken doors and household damage. The woman expressed concern about her lease and said she would not recover her deposit.

“You see that door? I never get my deposit back in this house,” she added, visibly frustrated.

The mother says she’s reached out to law enforcement multiple times and has explored legal options like emancipation, but claims the system makes it nearly impossible to remove her son from her home.

“When you do emancipation, they want 100 million things,” she said. “Somebody need to tell me how to get him out of my house.”

She also criticized the boy’s father for making excuses and refusing to take responsibility, saying:

“Ain’t nobody want him at they house! Nobody! … His grandma told him she don’t want him. He don’t got nobody to run to but this dumbass mama that he treats like [expletive].”

Among the most chilling revelations the woman made in the video, is one in which she claims her son choked her that morning, but the police did nothing.

The video ends with the woman yelling, “I’m crazy as hell—‘cause I’m tired.”

While the video highlights a deeply personal and painful family conflict, it also raises broader questions about the legal system’s limitations when handling intra-family violence involving minors.
