The Diddy trial just took another wild turn, and 50 Cent is loving it. The rap mogul-turned-master-troll couldn’t resist stirring the pot, dropping a now-deleted Instagram post that had fans side-eyeing hard.
Curtis Jackson, famously known as 50 Cent, took to his Instagram page early Friday morning (June 6) with a post that immediately set tongues wagging. The post featured a selfie of Daphne Joy alongside a courtroom sketch, captioned with a very pointed, “Hey, does anyone know who Jane Doe is? I’m trying to research for the Diddy doc,” followed by a wide-eyed emoji. He even threw in a casual, “Man, this stuff with Elon and Trump crazy,” a nod to the current political headlines, almost as if to distract from the real bombshell he was dropping. Although the post has since been deleted, screenshots are circulating.
But another post is still up on his page. It shows 50 and his son, Sire, giving someone off-camera the ultimate side-eye, captioned, “WTF!”.
So, what’s got everyone so keyed in? Jurors in Sean “Diddy” Combs’ federal sex crimes trial have been hearing some alarming testimony. One witness alleged he dangled her over a balcony. At the same time, another, testifying under the pseudonym “Jane,” claimed the former hip-hop mogul pressured her into having sex with other men.
Jane told the court on June 5 that Diddy dismissed her when she said she didn’t want to engage in sexual acts with other men at his behest. He allegedly threatened to stop paying her rent. She initially felt “exhilarated” after having sex with a male escort in front of Diddy in May 2021, about five months into their relationship. Still, she thought it would be a one-time thing. Instead, she claimed she had sex with other men in front of Diddy about 90% of the time she saw him.
When she finally told him she wanted to stop, Diddy allegedly threatened to cut off her rent. Jane told the court, “I felt obligated to perform these nights with other men.”
This testimony comes as prosecutors accuse Diddy of using his business empire to lure women with promises of romantic relationships or financial support, only to allegedly physically abuse them or coerce them into sex.
Sean “Diddy” Combs, 55, was arrested in September 2024 and charged with sex trafficking, racketeering, and transportation to engage in prostitution. He has pleaded not guilty.
