It’s Tonight! Megan Thee Stallion Will Join Kamala Harris For Mega Campaign In Atlanta

Vice President Kamala Harris’s campaign is gearing up for a major event in Atlanta, featuring a special performance by Grammy-winning rapper Megan Thee Stallion.

The rally, scheduled for tonight at 7:30 PM, marks a significant moment in Harris’s campaign as she continues her push through key battleground states.

The Atlanta event is part of a broader campaign strategy, including a substantial $50 million ad buy to highlight Harris’s prosecutorial background and her vision for the country’s future. The first ad, titled “Fearless,” contrasts Harris’s plans for progress with former President Donald Trump’s agenda, which she claims “wants to take our country backwards.”

The ad campaign, which will run through the Democratic National Convention next month, targets various media platforms. It will air on local and national broadcast networks, cable, and streaming services, as well as social media. Notable placements include popular shows like The Bachelorette, The Simpsons, The Daily Show, and Big Brother.

The campaign also plans to air ads during the Olympic Games, with shorter versions appearing on Connected TV, audio, and social platforms.

In the “Fearless” ad, Harris states:

“This campaign is about who we fight for. We believe in a future where every person has the opportunity not just to get by, but to get ahead. Where every senior can retire with dignity. But Donald Trump wants to take our country backward. To give tax breaks to billionaires and big corporations and end the Affordable Care Act. But we are not going back.”

The Trump campaign has also initiated its own ad campaign, reserving over $12 million across six battleground states. Their ad criticizes Harris on issues related to the border and immigration, labeling her as “Failed. Weak. Dangerously Liberal.”

It features clips from a 2021 NBC News interview where Harris struggled to explain her absence from the southern border.

Megan Thee Stallion’s appearance at the Atlanta rally adds star power to Harris’s campaign, as the vice president makes her sixth visit to Georgia this year and her fifth to Atlanta.

This event marks Harris’s first campaign stop in the state since becoming the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee.
