Apparently, Jasmin Brown still has to remind people that breastfeeding is nobody’s business except the mom and baby doing it.
The comedian and girlfriend of Cam Newton just went off on other moms who are all up in her business about breastfeeding her 13-month-old.
According to the CDC, nearly 75% of moms start off breastfeeding, but by 12 months, that number drops dramatically. So when comedian and influencer Jasmin Brown revealed she’s still nursing her 13-month-old, the internet did what it does best: got loud, opinionated, and way too nosy.
But Jasmin had time today.
The actress and host, known for her bold comedy skits and sharp-tongued humor, hit record and let it fly from the driver’s seat of her car. “Baby is 13 months postpartum, and I’m finally starting to feel good,” she began in a now-viral clip. “But I have a bone to pick with other moms that be in my business because I’m still nursing my child.”
That’s when the rant took flight—and she made it clear that the unsolicited opinions on her boobs, baby, and breastfeeding timeline were going straight in the trash.
“They’re asking me, ‘How long are you gonna do that? Do you know your boobs are going to sag?'” Jasmin said, mimicking the tone of the mommy critics. “Ma’am, why do you care? You don’t have to suck them, look at them, or play with them!”
Of course, this isn’t the first time Jasmin’s parenting choices have sparked chatter. Since having her baby with NFL star Cam Newton in June 2024, she’s been dragged for her “baby mama” status, especially considering her own jokes in the past that poked fun at single moms. The irony hasn’t been lost on the internet.
Still, Jasmin isn’t backing down. “Why do you feel like I owe you a response to what me and my child do? Are you my child?” she asked, eyes wide, voice raised. “People are so noisy!”
She even threw in that she knows someone breastfed until age 3. “I’m not saying I’m going that long—but if I did, that’s my prerogative, babe!”
Cam Newton, who now has eight kids from multiple relationships, hasn’t commented publicly on the video. But fans have been quick to weigh in, with some supporting Jasmin’s transparency, while others (predictably) continued clutching their pearls.
