The husband of Nicki Minaj, Kenneth Petty, has been ordered to serve 120 days of house arrest after he violated his probation by threatening rapper Offset, then posting the videos online.

On Wednesday, the Central District of California filed the order, stating Petty is to remain in home detention and monitoring after it was found on video “making threatening remarks to a specific individual while in the company of someone with a criminal record.”

The individual mentioned in the filing is Offset, born Kiari Kendrell Cephus. In the video, Petty makes threats towards him the posts them on social media on Sept. 16.

In the video, Petty and his colleagues are seen standing across the street from a New York Hotel, where he stated “Plan that vacation, you gonna be planning your funeral pussy.” Reports say Offset was staying at the hotel where Petty and his entourage were posted.

Meanwhile, Offset brushed off the threats by posting video of him stepping off a jet.

“I’m getting off a jet, he’s funny,” Offset said with a laugh. He further implied that Petty was poor.

Offset is one-third of the popular Atlanta rap trio Migos and is the husband of rapper Cardi B. For years, Cardi and Minaj have been in fisticuffs, including getting involved in a fight at the Harper’s Bazaar Icons party during New York Fashion Week in 2018. In video that circulated online, Cardi is seen attacking Minaj.

In February, Nicki and Petty were named co-defendants in a lawsuit alleging Petty physically attacked a security guard in 2019.

In a recent The Blast report, Thomas Weidenmuller stated that he was punched in the face by Mr. Petty during a verbal altercation that turned physical in a dispute.

Weidenmuller was working as head of security for the Queens rapper in Germany when a fan attempted to get on stage while she was performing her hit cult classic, Did It On Em, according to the report. The security guard says security personnel, members of her entourage and Petty all jumped in.

“The concert-goer did not cause harm to any other person, nor did he damage any property during or after his limited time on stage,” court documents say. “He simply danced on stage to the music. He did not attempt to, and did not actually, make any physical contact with Minaj while on stage.”

But after the incident, Minaj allegedly threw a fit at Weidenmuller and threw shoes at him. He then says he was forced to apologize while he held back tears. He was then forced to apologize again on camera.

The filing also states that Minaj verbally assaulted him and Petty subsequently punched him on the right side of his face. He was hospitalized for 10 days following the incident, according to The Blast.
