Reality TV star and attorney Phaedra Parks has weighed in on the ongoing legal troubles surrounding music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs following his recent arrest on assault and battery charges.

Diddy is being held in the Metropolitan Detention Centre in Brooklyn, New York, pending trial. On September 17, a judge remanded him to custody, and the next day, another denied his bail appeal. Despite the $50 million bond proposal, both judges expressed concern that Diddy could threaten witnesses and case evidence.

At the hearing in Manhattan, Diddy pleaded not guilty. The charges leveled against him are tied to “freak offs,” coerced sex acts that he allegedly orchestrated and recorded, according to a federal indictment.

In a recent interview, the Real Housewives of Atlanta alum addressed the allegations against Diddy, who is currently facing multiple charges, including racketeering and witness tampering.

“Everyone is innocent under our laws until proven guilty… So I believe he’s innocent until proven guilty. I’m a lawyer!” Phaedra stated firmly.

Phaedra’s comments come as Diddy’s legal battles dominate headlines, with many in the entertainment industry and beyond speculating on his fate.

She is not the only celebrity to seemingly question the legitimacy of the charges and allegations against Diddy. Actor Faizon Love also recently sparked controversy on social media when he asked whether being “nasty” is illegal.

In March, police raided the same $61m mansion in Beverly Hills that hosted Diddy’s lavish 53rd birthday party. Officers seized supplies allegedly intended for use in “freak off” orgies, including drugs and more than 1,000 bottles of baby oil.

According to the indictment, Combs has been a member of a criminal organization since 2008 that has engaged or attempted to engage in sex trafficking, forced labor, kidnapping, arson, bribery, obstruction of justice, and other offenses.
