Victoria Monét is officially a culinary school graduate while continuing to build momentum in her music career.
The Grammy Award-winning artist shared the news on Instagram, posting a series of photos in her cap and gown as she prepared to walk the stage. The images captured her celebrating the moment with champagne and portraits, offering a glimpse into a journey she balanced alongside long studio sessions for her upcoming album.
In her caption, Victoria Monét reflected on the experience and the effort it required. “Graduation day 5/4. I’m officially a Culinary School Graduate after I walk the stage tonight! I’mma cry,” she wrote. She went on to thank those who supported her through the process, adding, “I’m sooo thankful to my family, my daughter, my trainers, my culinary teachers, my community, my assistant, my driver, and my whole team for indulging in this absolutely crazy, ambitious idea to go to school while I create my next album!!!”
She described the pace of her schedule, balancing early mornings and late nights. “The 4 a.m. alarms to the late night moonlit studio endings and the 11 million things in between… we got it all done!! It’s ‘Yes Chef’ now when you see me,” she added.
For Victoria Monét, the achievement builds on a goal she has spoken about for years. In November 2025, she introduced her culinary journey publicly, launching a dedicated page to document her progress and sharing a video of herself in a professional kitchen. “It’s something that I’ve always wanted to do. It’s been a lifelong dream of mine,” she said at the time. “I’ve been super passionate about recipes you can pass down from generation to generation and how food makes people feel.”
Her interest in food extended beyond the classroom earlier this year when she launched “Saucy Sundéts,” a series designed to share recipes and techniques with her audience, turning her training into an interactive experience.
The graduation comes during a busy period for the singer. Following the release of her single “Let Me,” Victoria Monét has continued to tease new music, including a preview shared during an appearance on Hot 97’s “Nessa On Air.” She also joined Bruno Mars on the UK and Europe leg of “The Romantic Tour,” expanding her reach while working on her next project.
