Erika Alexander and Kim Coles Reunite for ‘ReLiving Single’ Podcast To Celebrate the Iconic Legacy of ‘Living Single’

Fans of the popular ‘90s sitcom Living Single are in for a nostalgic celebration as stars Erika Alexander and Kim Coles reunite for ReLiving Single, a new podcast launching Wednesday, May 7.

Produced by Kevin Hart’s Hartbeat and Color Farm Media, the series takes listeners back to Brooklyn’s beloved brownstone to revisit the legacy of a show that helped redefine comedy, sisterhood, dating, and Black excellence on television.

Billed as the “official unofficial rewatch series,” ReLiving Single offers a weekly dive into unforgettable episodes — from “Ride the Maverick” to Regine’s iconic “woo woo woo” — along with untold stories, behind-the-scenes reflections, and surprise appearances from fellow cast and crew.

“Getting to relive Living Single with Erika — and with all of you — feels like opening a time capsule packed with love, laughter, and a little extra lip gloss,” said Kim Coles. “I can’t wait to spill the tea, share the joy, and celebrate the magic that made us all family.”

Erika Alexander echoed the sentiment:

“ReLiving Single is a multigenerational conversation that remains evergreen because of the love our fans have for us and the show! So we put together an all-star lineup to reminisce, drop life-lesson gems, and give a masterclass on comedy and showbiz.”

The podcast joins Hartbeat’s hit audio slate, which includes Gold Minds with Kevin Hart and Petty Crimes, and offers a deeply personal and cultural perspective on the impact of Living Single.

As Eric Eddings, SVP of Digital & Platforms at Hartbeat, explained, “Living Single inspired legions of journalists and lawyers and changed the narrative of what it meant to be a Black woman in ‘90s America.”

The podcast is executive produced by Kevin Hart, Jeff Clanagan, Eric Eddings, and Lesley Gwam for Hartbeat, and by Erika Alexander and Ben Arnon for Color Farm Media. Amber Watson and Kim Coles serve as producers, with Kenny Jackson as associate producer.

Fans can listen to ReLiving Single wherever they get their podcasts or watch on the official YouTube channel starting May 7.
