Ex-husband of Teyana Taylor, Iman Shumpert, is facing some serious accusations after a woman claimed he assaulted her during a heated dispute inside his Atlanta home.

According to a source who spoke with Rhymes With Snitch, the situation reportedly spiraled after a confrontation over another woman. The alleged victim, identified as Joanna Kim, had been involved with Shumpert for the past three to four years and had flown in to visit him “like usual.” But things went left quickly.

The source claims the tension began when a mutual friend who was supposed to join them canceled at the last minute. Only to later send Shumpert an intimate photo. That, apparently, became the first spark.

Later that night, Shumpert allegedly invited another woman over. Multiple issues resurfaced during their conversations, leading to a verbal dispute between him and Joanna Kim. And that’s when the source says things became physical.

According to the allegations, Shumpert tried to strike Joanna Kim while she was on the phone, causing her to fall. He then allegedly grabbed her by her wrist and ankle and dragged her “through the room and down the stairs.” Joanna Kim reportedly tried to run upstairs to collect her things, but the chaos continued. Another woman present allegedly threw her back down the stairs during the second altercation.

At some point, Shumpert allegedly called his best friend, and the arguing continued between everyone in the home. After the incident, Kim reportedly contacted authorities and filed a police report with the South Fulton Police Department.

But here’s where the story takes another turn.

TMZ obtained a separate police report that paints a slightly different picture. Officers arrived at Shumpert’s home around 4:37 AM after receiving a call about a verbal dispute. They say they spotted Shumpert placing a suitcase outside and insisting he had repeatedly asked Kim to leave.

Kim told officers that Shumpert dragged her “by her wrist and foot toward the stairs” and that she planned to press charges because he “hit her.” However, police stated they observed no visible injuries, bruises, or markings on her body. A witness on the scene allegedly told officers that the assault never happened. Based on the lack of physical evidence and conflicting accounts, no charges were filed.

Bodycam footage of the encounter reportedly shows Kim saying, “See you in court and on Instagram in the morning,” signaling the situation was far from over.

As of now, Shumpert has not issued a public statement, and Kim’s next steps remain unclear. But social media? Oh, it’s already divided, with some believing Kim’s account and others pointing to the missing evidence and witness statements.
