Singer Beyonce Knowles-Carter may have ended her popularly acclaimed ‘Renaissance World Tour’ but the blockbuster event has made history, according to info trickling in on Wednesday, Oct. 11, 2023.

The tour itself made almost $600 million from all 56 shows, but details of individual concert shows are highly impressive and set a major new record, according to The Grape Juice.

Each of the Queen’s three Los Angeles shows at the SoFi Stadium in September grossed $20.1 million per night, making the ‘Alien Superstar’ crooner the new title holder for the highest-grossing single concert date in history.

Here’s the breakdown:

  • Beyoncé; SoFi Stadium; 09/01/2023 — $20.1 Million
  • Beyoncé; SoFi Stadium; 09/02/2023 — $20.1 Million
  • Beyoncé; SoFi Stadium; 09/04/2023 — $20.1 Million

The pop icon is not new to breaking records. In 20218, she became the only person to have her first six albums debut at No.1 in the United States. She also holds the record for having the most Grammy nominations by a female.

The famous Black businesswoman snatches the title from fellow Texas native George Strait. The Country legend previously set the record win in 2014 with a $18.2 million show in Dallas.

The news about her latest record comes ahead of the December 1 theatrical release of “Renaissance: A Film By Beyonce” – a cinematic event chronicling the musical extravaganza and the culture-shifting album it was mounted in support of.

The songwriter debuted the trailer for her upcoming concert documentary on Sunday night (Oct. 1) during the final stop on her Renaissance World Tour in Kansas City, Mo.

“When I am performing, I am nothing but free,” Bey says in voiceover at the outset of the two-minute trailer.

The clip opens with the singer casually walking to the stage while flashing a peace sign, stretching pre-show with her kids — including rehearsing with backup dancer/eldest daughter Blue Ivy Carter — and having a cocktail in the green room.

The singer captioned an Instagram post featuring the trailer with the cheeky warning, “Be careful what you ask for, ’cause I just might comply.”
