The custody battle between DDG and Halle Bailey just went from heated to incendiary, with DDG filing an emergency motion to stop Halle from taking their infant son, Halo, out of the country!
And here’s the real kicker: he’s claiming she poses an “imminent emotional and psychological risk” to their child, even alleging she’s “crazy” and attempted an abortion!
And it’s all unfolding just a month after Halle filed for a restraining order against him!
According to TMZ, DDG has filed this emergency motion because he fears what Halle might do outside the court’s jurisdiction, specifically with her plans to take Halo to Italy this Saturday. In the shocking filing, he throws out several wild allegations to paint a picture of Halle as not mentally stable enough to care for their baby. He claims she once took his gun and left the house without explanation while she was pregnant.
DDG also alleges she tried to have an abortion behind his back before changing her mind. And if that wasn’t enough, he claims to possess “a series of alarming text messages” where Halle supposedly expressed suicidal thoughts.
This explosive motion is a direct response to Halle Bailey’s own legal move last month, when she filed for a restraining order against DDG, alleging physical abuse. In her request, obtained by CNN, she made some alarming allegations, including “Throughout our relationship. Daryl has been and continues to be physically, verbally, emotionally, and financially abusive towards me. I am seeking orders to protect myself and our son Halo from his ongoing abuse.”
She even detailed one alleged incident where DDG reportedly got physical during a discussion about their visitation schedule.
DDG, for his part, has denied all of Halle’s allegations, flipping the script and claiming he’s the victim of abuse.
Beyond just blocking her trip to Italy, DDG is going for the jugular, seeking sole legal and physical custody of Halo. If the court doesn’t grant him that, he at least wants custodial exchanges to be facilitated by a third party.
