Fulton County DA Fani Willis Slams Marjorie Taylor Greene Amid Controversial Romance Allegations And RICO Prosecution

by Gee NY

Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis has criticized Georgia Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene in response to attacks from the Republican congresswoman.

Willis, facing accusations of a secret love affair with a special prosecutor she appointed, delivered her first public comments at the Big Bethel AME Church in Atlanta during the annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. memorial service.

Addressing constant death threats and personal attacks, Willis accused Greene of racism and turning a blind eye to extreme responses from the far right.

While not confirming the alleged romance, Willis acknowledged personal shortcomings, stating:

“Today what God has brought you is his very flawed, hard-headed, and imperfect servant.”

Willis appointed attorney Nathan Wade to prosecute former President Donald Trump under Georgia’s RICO law for election interference.

The case faces challenges after a motion filed by one of Trump’s co-defendants claimed a romantic relationship between Willis and Wade, leading to concerns about ethical violations.

Greene filed a criminal complaint against Willis, alleging illegal misconduct and an “illegal conflict of interest.”

Willis suggested racism played a role in the romance allegations as both she and Wade are Black.

The ongoing legal saga also involves claims of financial impropriety, with accusations that Willis and Wade enjoyed lavish vacations together, drawing scrutiny to their professional conduct.

While Willis vehemently defended the RICO prosecution during her speech, legal experts suggest her credibility may be at serious risk, potentially leading to a legal review and impacting her role as Fulton County’s top prosecutor.
