Moniece Slaughter has gone on a serious rant online after her car was reportedly broken into. But it’s not just about the robbery; her comments about Black people have sparked major controversy and have a lot of people talking.

After falling victim to a car break-in, she went on a scorched-earth rant that had social media gasping, critics furious, and Black Twitter calling for accountability.

According to reports, Moniece took to her Instagram Story on Wednesday (April 30th) to vent about the people who broke into her truck and stole her belongings, including production equipment, a full talent wardrobe, props, and even her prescription glasses. She watched the whole thing go down on surveillance footage and got the LAPD involved in dusting for fingerprints.

Understandably, she was upset about the situation. But what really had folks clutching their pearls was her reaction to the robbery.

“Shout out to the d^mmies that broke into my truck with all of my production equipment, my talent wardrobe, and props in it!” Moniece Slaughter wrote. “I watched the surveillance footage with the LAPD. And I had the cars dusted for fingerprints! Don’t ever ask me why I don’t like blk ppl! This is why! Just d^mb. Dusty. Ditsy. Deaf. Broke. And lazy for no reason! I work too hard. And it wasn’t enough for you to just rob me. You had to trash the trucks, leave the doors open so the lights were on, and the car batteries died. On top of that… you stole my seeing glasses. Complete wastes of life! And let’s let Circa know they need cameras on floors 3-5! Protect your public patrons.”

And it didn’t end there. In a follow-up caption that’s now circulating all over the blogs, Moniece doubled (maybe tripled?) down with this jaw-dropper:

“I h8 blk ppl! Ya’ll suck. You’re lazy. You’re d^mb. You’re ditzy. And dusty. And dingy! And you’re whack…”

The post didn’t stay up long, but not before several blogs and fans caught screenshots.

Now, while people empathized with her loss, many say her response crossed the line and then some. Critics argue that blaming an entire race for the actions of a few is wildly irresponsible, especially coming from a public figure.

The irony is that Moniece herself is Black.
