Texas Representative Jasmine Crockett has gone viral for her fiery remarks condemning former President Donald Trump’s recent federal funding freeze, calling it part of a broader “white supremacy agenda” linked to Project 2025.

In a video, Crockett broke down the devastating consequences of the funding halt, warning that it could push the country toward economic collapse.

“This is a white supremacy agenda that was laid out in Project 2025,” Crockett stated, referencing the conservative policy blueprint designed to reshape the federal government.

She called out Trump’s alleged abuse of executive power, arguing that his unilateral decision to freeze funds contradicts congressional authority.

“Appropriations are not something the president controls—it’s Congress that holds the power of the purse,” she explained.

Crockett highlighted the immediate impact on social programs, including Head Start, SNAP benefits, and housing assistance. She warned that the freeze would disproportionately harm low-income and working-class Americans, particularly in rural areas.

“Rural America, I need you to wake up because if for some reason you can’t put food on your table, just know who you need to blame,” she said.

The Texas lawmaker also predicted a looming government shutdown, stating:

“Mark my words, I could be wrong, but I think we’re gonna end up shutting down the government on March 14.” She accused Trump of treating the federal government like one of his failed business ventures, saying, “He has a track record of bankruptcy, a track record of not paying his bills.”

Crockett urged Americans to stay vigilant and support state attorneys general challenging the freeze in court.

“A lot of organizations have decided they are going to engage in litigation,” she noted, emphasizing the importance of legal battles in countering the administration’s overreach.

Her comments have sparked widespread debate, with supporters praising her for speaking out while critics dismiss her claims as alarmist. As uncertainty looms over federal funding, Crockett’s warnings continue to gain traction.
