In an unexpected turn of events, a woman recently took drastic measures to remove her partner, who had seemingly quit his job to spend all day playing the PS5, from her house.
The woman, who woke up determined to address the situation, concocted a plan that involved making her partner believe she had given away their apartment.
“I really can’t believe this. My man had to quit his job to be in the house and play the PS5 all day,” she shared on social media, expressing her frustration with the situation.
Determined to shake things up, she devised a plan to create discomfort and prompt him to reconsider his choices.
To make the ruse convincing, the woman started by clearing out the refrigerator and freezer, giving away all the meat to a friend and discarding the remaining items.
Her intention was to create a scenario where her partner would open the fridge and find it empty.
She had initially considered temporarily cutting off the lights, but her apartment complex informed her that such an action would breach her lease agreement. Undeterred, she pressed on with her plan.
“His feelings were so hurt when he opened the fridge and didn’t see that salmon in there anymore,” she noted.
Following the fridge cleanup, she disposed of everything in the dumpster, reinforcing the illusion of a significant life change.
In a further attempt to signal a departure, she went to Walmart to purchase new locks, though her partner ended up leaving before she could implement this part of the plan.
As they engaged in a discussion about the situation, her partner unexpectedly packed up his belongings and left, leaving her with a mix of surprise and accomplishment.
The woman shared her unconventional approach on social media, sparking a range of reactions from users who found the story both amusing and bewildering.

“What if he wanted to pursue a career in streaming you just finna give up on him? this is why black relationships don’t last long majority of the times you stay down and solid with yo partner no matter what this was too far I ain’t gone lie.”

“She did all that just to get her boyfriend out the house… Rather than having a simple conversation and communicating with him about how she was feeling… This generation does extra stuff for no reason… You mean to tell me you threw out all your own food and temporally cut your light off for what? Lord 😒”

“Y’all saying “What if” he trying to pursue a career in gaming … “what if “ he’s not , then she still gone be the one y’all blame for letting him stay there accepting the BS. Regardless RENT is due every month , he can play the game & take care of the roof over his head. 😵💫”
The incident serves as a peculiar example of the lengths people might go to when trying to address relationship issues.
While the effectiveness of such methods is subjective, the woman’s creative strategy certainly caught the attention of online audiences.
