Daria Rose, a young attorney and social media activist, has taken to Instagram and TikTok to expose the alarming details of Project 2025, a far-right plan for America.
With her insightful commentary, Daria, known on social media as @darilynmonrosee, breaks down the chilling 920-page document published by The Heritage Foundation, a powerful conservative think tank based in Washington D.C.
In her viral video, Daria explains that Project 2025 has its roots in 1973, the year The Heritage Foundation was established.
This influential group aims to transform America into a far-right Christian nationalist state, as evidenced by their first manifesto, “Mandate for Leadership,” which played a significant role in shaping Reagan administration policies.
Now, they’re back with Project 2025, a blueprint intended to guide the next Republican president!
Daria outlines the four main pillars of Project 2025: Policy, Personnel, Training, and Playbook.
The Policy pillar is the comprehensive 900-page document itself. Personnel involves creating a conservative database akin to LinkedIn, but exclusively for Trump loyalists. The Training pillar includes an online educational system called the Presidential Administration Academy, where the group’s ideology is taught. Finally, the Playbook is an action plan detailing how these goals will be achieved.
Daria highlights some of the most concerning elements in Project 2025, should Donald Trump return as president:
- Complete Ban on Abortions: The document calls for a nationwide prohibition of abortions, a move that would severely restrict women’s reproductive rights.
- Elimination of the Department of Education: Project 2025 advocates for the dissolution of the Department of Education and the cessation of federal funding for schools that mandate vaccines or masks.
- Defunding NOAA and the National Weather Service: The plan seeks to eliminate these agencies, accusing them of contributing to the “climate change alarm industry.”
- Dismantling the Department of Homeland Security and the FBI: The document argues for the elimination of these critical security agencies.
- Ban on Corn Production: Surprisingly, the plan calls for outlawing corn and penalizing those involved in its production and distribution.
- Reversal of Policies Allowing Transgender Military Service: It aims to ban transgender individuals from serving in the military and halt public funding for transgender surgeries and abortions for service members.
Daria also points out the potential end of birthright citizenship, the banning of African American and gender studies at all education levels, the elimination of DEI programs, and the end of gay marriage and the Affordable Care Act.
Additionally, the plan includes mass deportation of immigrants and proposes setting up camps to detain undocumented migrants.
One of the most sinister aspects of Project 2025 is the reclassification of federal employees under “Schedule F.”
This would allow the president to replace merit-based federal workers with political appointees, filling critical positions with unqualified loyalists.
Daria explains how this could be used to enforce the plan’s agenda without going through Congress or the courts, by replacing experts with those who align with far-right ideologies.
“Under Schedule F, DJT could take a scientist at the FDA, fire him, and then replace him with, let’s say, a scientist who wouldn’t give clearance to birth control or the abortion pill, therefore making it illegal and inaccessible without having to go through the courts or Congress.”
Despite Donald Trump’s attempts to distance himself from Project 2025, many of its authors served in his previous administration, and his current platform, Agenda 47, mirrors much of what is outlined in Project 2025. The president of The Heritage Foundation even calls it the “new American Revolution.”
For Black American women and other marginalized groups, the implications of Project 2025 are particularly alarming. The potential rollback of rights and protections could devastate our communities.
As Daria Rose urges, it’s crucial for everyone, especially those who feel disenfranchised, to engage in the democratic process, vote, and work towards a society that values equality and justice for all.
