Roper is accused in connection with the fatal shooting of Jazmyn Henrion, a 23-year-old mother of three, during an August 23, 2020 incident in Kansas City. According to investigators, Roper allegedly fired multiple shots at a vehicle during an altercation, striking two women. Henrion died from her injuries.
Years on the Run
Following the shooting, Roper was charged in September 2020 with second-degree murder, armed criminal action, and unlawful use of a weapon. A federal warrant for unlawful flight to avoid prosecution was issued in 2021 after authorities were unable to locate her.
For nearly five years, Roper remained at large as law enforcement agencies pursued leads. Officials say the case gained renewed momentum when the FBI publicly elevated her status to its most wanted list on April 14, 2026.
