Cocoa Brown and her son are grateful for all the love and help, including Tyler Perry’s $400,000 cash donation for a new home after the fire devastation.

Tyler Perry’s generosity will light up another black home as he sparks hope in the For Better or Worse star and son, Phoenix.

The 51-year-old narrowly escaped death with her young son when their Fayetteville home in a devastating fire on Sunday. Luckily for her, she was able to save her son and pets. But every other down was burnt to ash.

Although there hasn’t been an official report from the Arson Department on the cause of the fire, a close source disclosed to TMZ that the cause of the fire might have been a lit candle that fell into a pile of clothes.

Cocoa Brown reportedly attempted to extinguish the flames with a fire extinguisher after her alarm went off, but the fire spread too quickly for her to control.

After news of the tragic incident, friends of the actress started a GoFundMe to help her with a new home ( rebuild or buy). The original goal for the fundraiser was $50,000. But that target was quickly met and raised to $100,000.

Tyler Perry, who wrote and directed the OWN Network sitcom Cocoa Brown starred on from 2011 to 2017, also donated nearly half a million dollars for the new home project.

Cocoa Brown shared a message on IC to thank everyone who has contributed to helping her rebuild her life.

“Thank you for all your love, concern & support. Please continue to pray for us,” she captioned the post.
