Social media is buzzing with admiration for Gia Harris, an African-American entrepreneur whose posts are always talking about generational wealth and empowerment.

Known to her followers as 𝐆𝐢𝐚 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐇𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐆𝐨𝐝𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐬 (@giathehousegoddess), Gia is making history by founding Zambia’s first Black-owned mining community — a milestone that’s capturing global attention for its bold blend of business, culture, and community-led development.

Born in New York and based in Atlanta, Gia is no stranger to trailblazing paths. According to available information about her, she is a full-time real estate investor and mentor. She built her name on non-traditional ventures like tax liens, land acquisition, and pre-foreclosures. But since 2019, her heart and hustle have been rooted in Africa — especially Zambia.

What began as a personal journey to reconnect with her roots quickly evolved into a groundbreaking endeavor. Gia relocated to Zambia and made it a priority to seek the blessings of local elders and tribal Chiefs. She immersed herself in the community, embracing the values of collaboration and collective growth.

“Zambia stole my heart,” she shares on BackToZambia.com, her platform designed to educate others about investment and travel opportunities across the continent. “I’ve been blessed to establish a Zambian family and receive incredible support from the locals, who are some of the warmest and most welcoming people you’ll ever meet.”

That spirit of connection laid the foundation for what is now a 200,000-acre mineral-rich mining initiative in one of the world’s copper capitals. Her community-centered approach prioritizes ethical mining practices, economic empowerment, and sustainability — turning what’s often seen as an extractive industry into a vehicle for lasting impact.

Gia’s vision doesn’t stop at mining.

She now hosts popular masterclasses focused on gold, precious minerals, and how others can build sustainable, community-driven ventures in the mining sector.

Her mission is clear: bridge the gap between Africa and the African diaspora while creating tangible wealth-building opportunities.

“We have big plans to create a thriving city that promotes abundance for the local community and for all who participate,” Gia states on her website.

Gia’s posts invite others to reimagine Africa — not just as a place to visit, but as a land rich with opportunity, legacy, and prosperity.
