Thieves targeted Beyoncé’s inner circle, making off with unreleased music, tour plans, and top-secret show materials just days before her Atlanta concert.

The BeyHive is on high alert after reports surfaced that unreleased Beyoncé music, private tour materials, and personal tech were stolen from a rental car in Atlanta just two days before the superstar kicked off her Cowboy Carter tour stop in the city.

According to WSB-TV, the robbery went down on July 8, when Beyoncé’s longtime choreographer Christopher Grant and dancer Diandre Blue left their 2024 black Jeep Wagoneer parked near the popular Krog Street Market for less than an hour. When they returned around 9PM, the back window had been shattered, and two suitcases were gone.

But these weren’t just regular bags.

Inside those suitcases?

  • Five thumb drives allegedly containing unreleased Beyoncé songs and private footage
  • Concert set lists and show plans
  • Two MacBook laptops
  • Apple AirPods
  • Luxury designer clothing and accessories

According to the official police report, Grant told Atlanta officers that he was in possession of “sensitive personal information” belonging to Beyoncé herself.

The Atlanta Police Department confirmed that an arrest warrant has already been issued for a suspect in the case. Footage from nearby security cameras reportedly captured the break-in, and investigators believe the getaway car may have been a 2025 red Hyundai Elantra. Light fingerprints were also lifted from the scene.

When contacted by Billboard, the Atlanta Police Department released a statement confirming the incident: “On July 8, 2025, Atlanta Police Zone 6 officers responded to 99 Krog St. NE regarding a report of a theft from a motor vehicle. Preliminary investigation revealed a Jeep Wagoneer was broken into at the location and two suitcases had been stolen.”

Christopher Grant specifically told officers that “he was also carrying some personal sensitive information for the musician Beyoncé,” as stated in the police incident report.

Beyoncé began her four-day Atlanta residency on July 10 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium, just 48 hours after the theft. Though she hasn’t publicly addressed the situation, fans are watching closely to see if the stolen material could impact future show dates or spark a leak online.

The incident adds unexpected drama to Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter era, a tour that’s already made headlines for its genre-blending setlists, massive visuals, and Beyoncé’s powerful re-entry into the country music space.
