Cardi B’s boyfriend, Stefon Diggs, is embroiled in a serious legal battle with his ex-girlfriend, Mulan Hernandez, who has accused him of assault and intimidation.
Recent court documents acquired by Us Weekly reveal that Mulan has filed a counterclaim in Texas against Diggs. She alleges that during an altercation on June 7, 2024, he punched her in the back of the head and then attempted to hush her up with a non-disclosure agreement. Mulan, known for her role on Basketball Wives Orlando, claims she was diagnosed with a concussion following the incident.
In her court filing, Mulan states that after the incident, Diggs acted quickly, flying his personal assistant to Houston to pressure her into signing the NDA, an action she believes was intended to keep the alleged assault from coming to light, both to the NFL and the public. She is now seeking damages between $250,000 and $1 million for physical pain, emotional distress, and medical costs.
However, the situation only becomes more complicated. Just a few months before her counterclaim, Diggs had already launched his own lawsuit against Mulan, as well as another woman named Brianna Mack, claiming they assaulted him, trespassed in his home, caused emotional distress, and even attempted extortion. According to Diggs, the confrontation in June unfolded quite differently.
He alleges that Mulan was the one who initiated the violence, claiming she damaged his $130,000 wristwatch, ruined his video game console, and threw his phone into the toilet during their heated argument. He insists that Mulan physically attacked him, punching him in the chest and threatening him with a weapon, while maintaining that he never harmed her and any contact made was purely in self-defense.
This isn’t the first time Diggs has found himself in hot water. He has faced previous allegations from a man named Chris Blake Griffith, who accused him of drugging and assaulting him, and also claimed that Diggs’ brother, Darez, led a group to attack and rob him.
With all the lawsuits and rampant allegations swirling about, fans are watching the situation closely, especially with Cardi B’s name now associated with it. Many are expressing concerns on social media about whether her new relationship could further complicate an already chaotic year.
