Keke Palmer and ex-boyfriend Darius Jackson have requested to postpone the court hearing for a private resolution.
Keke Palmer has agreed to try and work out issues with her baby daddy behind closed doors.
This shocking turn of events comes weeks after the actress filed a disturbing restraining order petition in court.
In November, the Nope actress requested a temporary domestic violence restraining order and temporary sole custody of their 9-month-old son, Leodis Andrellton.
According to the motion Keke filed, Darius Jackson has been violent towards her on more than one occasion.
The temporary restraining order was allowed after Keke supplied evidence of the fitness trainer allegedly “hitting” and “dragging” her inside her home.
Darius Jackson was ordered to stay at least 100 yards away from Keke Palmer and their son. In addition, KeKe was granted sole custody of their son Leo.
A hearing was set for this Tuesday, December 5, for Keke to make her case for the temporary restraining order to be permanent.
In the new filing, Keke and Darius requested a new court date to allow them time to attend mediation together.
“The parties request that the Mediation and Petitioner’s DVRO be continued on a mutually agreeable date,” according to the filing.
According to the exclusive from RadaOnline, the exes agreed that the orders outlined in the temporary restraining order “shall remain in full force and effect” until the rescheduled hearing.
A source close to Keke Palmer added more context to the developing story of the new relationship between Palmer and Jackson.
“Keke will continue to protect her safety and the safety of Leo above all else. The actress agreed to mediation because the case has gotten so much speculation and media attention, and she is concerned about her privacy, Leo’s privacy, and the privacy of her family,” the informant told PEOPLE.
The temporary restraining order is still in full force.
