Stefon Diggs’ former personal chef, Jamila Adams, known on social media as Chef Mila, shared a series of emotional social media posts following the NFL star’s recent acquittal in his assault case. The latest twist in the ongoing situation pulled Cardi B into the discussion after Adams publicly claimed she previously apologized to the rapper over how Diggs allegedly treated her during pregnancy.

Chef Mila, who accused Diggs of assault and strangulation before the case went to trial earlier this month, posted a lengthy online statement alongside a video message directed toward one of the mothers of his children. Though she did not initially mention Cardi B by name in the video itself, later social media posts made it clear who she was addressing.

“The way he treated you when you were pregnant, the way he talked to you when you were pregnant… will always be something I will never understand,” Chef Mila said in the emotional clip.

She continued by referencing alleged incidents surrounding the pregnancy and delivery, claiming people close to Diggs witnessed his behavior at the time.

“The way he treated you in the delivery room, the way he treated you after the baby,” Chef Mila said. “The same person that abused you, abused me.”

Chef Mila also alleged that text messages between herself and the woman documented moments where Diggs allegedly belittled and spoke harshly during the relationship. However, she made it clear she would not publicly reveal everything.

“That’s not my story to tell,” she said before apologizing directly in the message.

The social media posts arrived only days after Diggs was found not guilty on felony strangulation and misdemeanor assault and battery charges connected to an incident Chef Mila alleged took place at his home late last year.

During the trial, Chef Mila testified that Diggs allegedly struck her during an argument inside the residence. Court testimony also revealed the two previously had a sexual relationship before Chef Mila later became his personal chef.

Diggs denied all allegations and pleaded not guilty throughout the case. His legal team argued there was limited physical evidence supporting Chef Mila’s claims and suggested financial motives may have played a role in the lawsuit. Defense attorneys also referenced deleted text messages they claimed weakened parts of her account.

After a short trial and jury deliberation, Diggs was acquitted on all charges. Reports from inside the courtroom described the athlete as emotional after hearing the verdict.

Following the decision,  Chef Mila returned to social media with another pointed message that directly referenced Cardi B.

“I was the one apologizing for how he treated [you] while you were pregnant & after,” Chef Mila wrote on Instagram. “Cardi you know I didn’t lie.”

The posts quickly spread across social media, with fans debating the situation online and reacting to Cardi B unexpectedly being pulled into the public fallout surrounding Diggs and Chef Mila.
