Beyoncé is once again using her platform to uplift small business owners, this time with a fresh $500,000 commitment through the Cécred x BeyGOOD Fund, aimed at salon and barbershop entrepreneurs across the United States.
On Monday, BeyGOOD announced that applications are now open for a new round of grants offering $10,000 each to licensed barbers, hairstylists, and cosmetologists who are salon or suite owners and have experienced financial hardship. In partnership with the National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC), the initiative is also connecting recipients with critical business development tools and certification support to help them grow and sustain their businesses.
The announcement comes months after the February 2024 launch of Cécred, Beyoncé’s critically acclaimed haircare brand, which debuted with a mission to honor Black beauty, preserve heritage, and build economic opportunity in the beauty industry.
“Hairstylists have an immense impact on the people in their chairs,” reads a statement on the BeyGOOD website. “They create a sacred space where we can show up how we want and express ourselves through our hair. We’re honored to give back to this amazing community.”

Unlike the previous round of grants, which focused only on five major cities—Atlanta, Chicago, Houston, Los Angeles, and New York—this new phase has been expanded to all 50 states, giving more beauty professionals a chance to apply.
In total, 37 grant recipients will be selected. Finalists who aren’t awarded funds will still benefit from group coaching sessions and access to Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) certification opportunities through the NMSDC.
To be eligible, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Be a licensed barber, hairstylist, or cosmetologist
- Have at least two years of professional experience
- Provide proof of shop ownership or a lease agreement (booth, suite, or chair)
- Demonstrate financial hardship

In addition to business grants, the Cécred x BeyGOOD Fund has also awarded \$130,000 in scholarships to cosmetology students, furthering its dual commitment to current beauty professionals and the next generation of industry leaders.
The deadline to apply is June 13, and applications are available now through the official BeyGOOD website.
This initiative continues Beyoncé’s long-standing philanthropic track record and her dedication to empowering Black-owned businesses and creative entrepreneurs. From stage to salon, the global icon is making it clear: when one wins, we all win.
