Wild ‘N Out star Jacky Oh was laid to rest Saturday in a touching memorial service in Atlanta.

At the funeral, her partner, DC Young Fly, delivered a moving tribute to the “beautiful soul.”

“I love you, Jack. These kids are beautiful, man. God granted me that strength to have three,” Young Fly said as he gazed at her casket.

The comedian drew laughter from the audience by adding humor to the somber moment.

“You know I was trying to have seven more,” he said while rotating his hips. “She’s gonna beat me up for that one.”

His tone then grew solemn. “I want our kids to understand that you had a beautiful soul. You didn’t leave us; you in heaven. Your spirit is with us, you’re still here, and he have an amazing support system. Love you. Everybody in here, keep God first.”

Days after Jacky Oh (born Jacklyn Smith) passed, DC Young Fly (born John Whitfield) wrote an emotional post on social media in memoriam of his lost partner.

“I wasn’t in no rush to post this because I wanted it to be a dream so bad but every hour I’m reminded of realty so I wanna make sure I applaud you in the proper manner,” he wrote. “You are the GREATEST MOTHER I KNOW your soul was beautiful Yu always wanted the best for others and I admired how our family love each other!!! Never had to worry about our kids loving each other cause you were on top of Dat!!!”

Jacky Oh achieved stardom while discovered on the popular hit improv comedy show Wild ‘n Out. Her family confirmed to BET that she had died earlier this month. She was 33.

“We are deeply saddened by the passing of Jacklyn Smith, known to the world as Jacky Oh, a talented Wild N’ Out family member whose impact will be forever treasured and missed,” BET management wrote in a statement. “Jacky Oh was a loving friend and beloved colleague of the Wild N’ Out cast throughout five seasons.”

Family and friends close to the star said she was a “tremendous mother” of three to Nova, 6, and Nala, 2 and son Prince’Nehemiah, 10 months. The latter of the three she shared with DC Young Fly, who she was in a relationship with since 2015.

“The BET Media Group extends our sincere condolences to the Smith family, DC Young Fly, B Simone, Nick Cannon, and all friends who loved and cared for Jacky Oh during this difficult time.”

Her cause of death is unknown, although reports say she was in Miami when she died. The last post she uploaded on Instagram was on May 19, which was a video of her children sleeping.

“You were Very sweet and gone too soon,” one commenter wrote in the post. “You’re energy was always positive. You leave this realm with a lot of love and loved ones.”

“My heart it’s aching and I don’t even know you personally,” wrote another. “I hope these rumors aren’t real.”

Jacky Oh first appeared on Wild ‘n Out in 2014 for its sixth season, and rose the ranks to become one of the show’s biggest stars. She was introduced to the role through Nick Cannon’s assistant.

“I guess he liked me,” Jacky Oh told ThisIs50 in an interview, “And he liked my look, and he put me on the show.”

Smith and DC Young Fly became an item after they met in a hotel lobby in 2015. She would soon become a cast member on the show he regularly appeared on.

“I liked him,” she said in a 2017 interview. “I was vibing with him.”

Since leaving Wild ‘n Out in 2020, the actress and comedian launched her own makeup line featuring her own line of lip glosses and began a real estate career. But of all her accomplishments, her biggest achievement was her children, she said.

“i do a lot. but being a mommy is my favorite,” she wrote on Instagram May 13. “God chose me 3X. I promise i never take it for granted. Im so damn blessed man!”
