The Nominations Are in: H.E.R. and Doja Cat Land Eight Grammy Nods

Nominees for the 63rd annual Grammy Awards were today, and they include Doja Cat, Megan Thee Stallion and H.E.R. are all nominated.

The Recording Academy has extended the lists of nominees to 10 in marquee categories—Record of the Year, Album of the Year, Song of the Year and Best New Artist.

It’s already been a big month for Thee Stallion after her “Good News” album scooped the “Favorite Hip-Hop Album of the Year” award at the American Music Awards. At the 2022 Grammys, she’s up for “Best Rap Performance.”

Doja Cat was nominated for Album of the Year, Record of the Year and Song of the Year, with SZA also being nominated in the latter two categories.

H.E.R nabbed a nomination for her “Back of My Mind” album. She and Doja Cat bost received an incredible eight nominations.

Saweetie was also nominated for Best New Artist.

Women of color shone brightly throughout this year’s nods.
